I have been a trial attorney for more than twenty (20) years, handling cases in all areas of the law, including but not limited to substantial experience in the following areas: domestic relations/family law, juvenile law, criminal (felony and misdemeanor), traffic/DUI matters, civil litigation, contract negotiations, real estate transactions, medical and legal malpractice cases, wrongful death, personal and bodily injury, probate and estate planning.

During this time period, my duties have included managing, supervising and operating an entire office; reviewing cases for potential litigation (both civil and criminal), managing and negotiating settlements of cases, the administration of cases from beginning to end; drafting pleadings and briefs; and litigating matters to a conclusion in the Ohio Supreme Court and various Trial and Appellate Courts throughout Ohio, as well as Federal Courts. I have also, among other things, had a number of criminal and civil jury trials as the sole attorney, as well as several trials wherein I have acted as co-counsel. I have acted as a consultant to other attorneys on many types of cases and have testified as an expert witness in domestic relation/family law cases and probate cases. I was an Acting/Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Lebanon, Ohio from 1991-1994 and was an Arbitrator for the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court in Dayton, Ohio from 1992-1993. I have also been an instructor at the Warren County Career Center in Lebanon, Ohio whereby I taught a class on the legal issues involved in auctions.

I am currently serving and have previously served on several legal, civic and community boards and committees. I am currently a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Warren County (Ohio) Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association’s Family Law Division. As well, I have been previously actively involved with the Warren County (Ohio) Domestic Relations Committee and the Warren County (Ohio) Certified Grievance Committee.
